Jill received an MFA in Medical and Biological Illustration from The University of Michigan in 1998, and since that time has been a practicing illustrator and designer in the New York City area. In 2003, she achieved the status of Certified Medical Illustrator, a designation awarded by the Board of Certification of Medical Illustration. She was a member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) from 2006-2011, served as AMI Treasurer from 2018-2021, and is currently the President of the AMI
